Personality:

In his early life, Haden was a quiet kid, from before his parents murder to after his arrival to San Francisco, he’s always been quiet, keeping to himself, being that sky kid who figures things out on his own but is never, ever too afraid to ask for some assistance everyone once in a while, actually, he encourages it, found it a better way to make friends under mutual circumstances rather than awkwardly walking up to someone and just saying hi then to act like a fool, tripping over words, especially with certain girls. Girls were another thing he’s had trouble with growing up. He was a handsome, cute boy and he is an attractive man but approaching girls wasn’t his things, he was still coming out of his shy stages from his youth, which he managed and he got to meet some very beautiful girls, beautiful one the inside and out. Most he kept as friends, others he got close to, but he has only been intimate with one of them, the mother of his children and the current one and only love of his life.

 

Love is one monumental topic in Haden’s life because he believes in the One. That one beautiful person he’ll spend the rest of his life with, loving and growing old with and such. But other than that intimate love, other kinds of love find their way into his life. Though the first people he’s ever loved where taken away and he’s for a long while thought he’d never love anyone as strongly, he got a family of his own and that love returned to him in the form of a bundle of life, two bubbly little girls who grew up fast, his first children and two beautiful daughters. Then came that brotherly love that he’s never experienced that he now shares with Just Evans. A guy who has been there for him so many times it’s impossible to count. He’s been there at every critical or blessed moment in Haden’s life and Haden makes sure he’s there for Justin whatever the matter. Then Haden got the love of a child again, and then two grandsons and his family just keeps growing. Haden came to San Francisco alone, no family, no one to turn to, just him and a book and his powers, and from that he survived and he created the family that surrounds him and loves them, that family he swears to protect for life.

 

Haden sees himself as a passive being, after all, he’s been a part whitelighter and is now part Elder so he must be a passive being, but his life is devoted to protecting his family and the human race, mainly innocents and that has meant heading into battle, sometimes leading it. He has done some damage, caused some pain that he isn’t proud of accomplishing, but like in any war, he gets banged around… a lot. But he recovers, sometimes by will, or sometimes after a couple had days sleep. But he fights, not for that shitty Greater Good or for that flipping Grand design, he fights for the lives of innocents and for his family. To make sure all are safe and that evil doesn’t win for its own selfish needs.

 

He is a very friendly guy. Just go up to him, chat, be just a friendly and you’ve made a new friends and a great ally, that’s how Haden and Justin became best friends, just because he said hi to him. And that basically all it takes to get good with Haden. But remember, he’s one of those guys who remembers first impressions, and he forgives easily but for his family’s sake, he never forgets, he’d never bring up a mistake or an error made towards him but he never forgets. Haden is a human being, so he makes mistakes, and he always apologizes for them. It doesn’t make sense knowing you did wrong and not owning up to it. He’s an honest guy, he shares his feelings so he’ll own up and he’ll even be open with it without shame.

 

I can be described as: Loyal, faithful, charming, friendly, and valiant to the death, headstrong, tolerant and a shoulder to lean or cry on.

 

I will never: abandon my family, abandon my people, watch innocents suffer in any way, abuse God’s gifts to me, intentionally do evil, betray his friends, lie to his family or watch someone die because of me and not do anything about it.

 

History: Haden Vincent Mathias was raised in his parents’ apartment in New York. His parents were named Liana Mathias (a Whitelighter) and Vince Mathias (a Witch). As Haden grew up, he knew of his parents undying love for each other, and he also knew of the secrets between them and him, which went unanswered when his mother would vanish for hours or even days and when his father would go running off, leaving him in care of his friends or family, and would come back sometimes extremely exhausted and/or badly hurt, sometimes bleeding, that's when his parents would send him to his room and the next day, everything would appear normal and his dad wouldn't seem the slightest bit scratched.

 

 

As he grew, his suspicions of his parents grew, and little did he know that his questions would be answered, just not the way he wanted. While studying home alone, the time his parents would be off "working", there was this faint blue light behind him. He turned around and his mother appeared holding his father. That's when she revealed to him that she was a Whitelighter and that his father was a Witch and that he too, would present some magical abilities. This all came to a shock, but it naturally, answered everything he had to ask. Then, a hideous thing burst down the door and started snarling words at them, then he shot a ball of fire at his father and vanished from sight, then a man in black appeared with a crossbow and shot his mother. It all happened so fast that he couldn't for a second believe it was real.

 

The two intruders left shortly afterwards and Haden stood there in his home, alone. He started to cry, not out of fright, but out of the greatest sadness. he had to get out of there before they came back, so he went upstairs and packed a back filled with clothes and other essentials and ran back downstairs, but as he was passing the door which led to the basement, he heard something calling him, not a voice, just something, something he'd heard many times before, but he wasn't allowed to go to the basement, it was always locked, but this time it wasn't. He went down and gazed upon a book which lay on the floor with a faint white glow about it, and beside it was another, but the book seemed wilted and dead...dead, just as his parents. He went forward and took up the glowing book and stored it in his bag and left his home, grabbing a photo of the three of them before he left.

He went to the nearest bus station and left New York, heading West to San Francisco, his parents always told him that if anything happened, head to San Francisco.

 

From there, he started to have encounters with other witches and magical beings like himself, both good and evil and it wasn't long before he met the Charmed Ones and started to learn of what the world was really like, a magical war-torn plane. Since, he's kept an eye out for such as his first experience in San Francisco was a demon attack, luckily he was save by Head Priestess Phoenix O'Brien and Charmed One Aiden Black-Density. He has steadily learned to control his powers and the further acquired powers in hopes of putting himself in a position where he could easily fend off demons without any ones help...noting that he didn't have anyone left in this world.

 

Then things took a turn for him, for a while, he let the fact that he didn't have anyone left in life to turn to start to eat him up badly inside, but that was before he met this girl named Aayliah, a young witch who had turned to stealing to survive in this world. After some coaxing and taming, he finally made a break through with her and vice verse, and soon, the two hit it off, falling deeply in like with each other on the border of love, but then things went sour, she got stabbed but survived, then she was turned to evil by Scott and as a result, she gave her own life...Haden was never sure if it was his fault for not accepting her while she was evil, but all he ever had to think since then w as that he cared about her, no matter what path she was on or what she did...and she did kick his ass pretty hard, right at that moment he was kidnapped by the same Head Priestess at the time: Phoenix O’Brien and made to procreate with her on Avalon producing seven children, all girls, but unfortunately, the first five were still-births and he and phoenix were only left with two: Krystalline O'Brien and Aayliah Mathias, named after that special girl he loved and lost and since then, he's been watching over his daughter and Phoenix as the reluctant father, reluctant but devoted.

 

Not long after, his life suffered another horrible blow as during the course of a battle of good and evil, the one to spark more battles, Phoenix and Krystalline were killed and Aayliah was now the sole heir to the throne of Avalon. Immediately he got into guarding her and raising her, from time to time, when the situation got dangerous he'd leave her with the Elders or some trustworthy whitelighters. Since then, he's been shrouding her with attention, spending a lot of time in a secluded place in the park which he and Liah have grown to like.

 

A few weeks later, a Battle took place on Avalon, and Aiden and Haden being the only beings probably capable of stopping this threat and at the same time being the only two witches there aside from the guards and stuff, they made an attempted to hold of Malchiresa and her battalion of demons and warlocks, but unfortunately, the Isle was tarnished by evil and they lost Avalon.

 

Not long after that and still feeling sour, he was back in the park with his daughter where he got an unexpected visit from his 16 year old daughter from the future where she exchanged places with his baby girl in hopes of changing some key events which affect her and Haden but this unfortunately goes sour as well as his 16 year old daughter gets kidnapped and he's now on a hunt to find her before he loses someone else he loves.

Other key happenings for Haden is meeting Justin Evans, one of the coolest and powerful witches he's ever had the opportunity to meet and befriend. There friendship has even stepped up as Haden even trust Justin to help him find his daughter. One even bigger happening was when Haden met Keriann Kodish, a beautiful, charming, sweet, gentle, clever girl from the University. He met her when he went to enrol at Student Affairs. They spent some time together but not as much time as he wanted as the last things he remembered about being with her is her reaction to him having a daughter and how disappointed he felt, not to mention hurt by it, but in the end, she seemed to warm up to the though...just a lil' bit.

Quite a bit later, Haden became caught up in a war which resulted in his daughter losing his powers and him being turned evil by Rebecca, now five years later and still evil, he's still got the same intent he had from the time he turned evil...kill.

 

Haden, thanks to his best friend and godfather to his children, present and future, went to hell and back to bring Haden back to the side of Good and he did it while beating Haden to a pulp. Now returned to his sense of sanity and reason, he returned to his daughter who was returned to her child-self do to an exchange involving time and space, a bit of a complicated story. But he finally got the chance to raise his daughter like nothing happened. Little did he know that his family was returning to him, even those not related by blood, first was the beautiful Keriann Kodish. Haden stumbled upon her while dining at an Italian restaurant in San Francisco, the two rekindled that burning flame of desire and passion for each other and became a couple bent on starting a family with each other. Next came the return of his other daughter, Krys. She came back as a spirit in hopes of restoring Avalon to the priestess' rule but on failing, she came to announce to her father that she was returning back to the heavens but Haden didn't allow. he worked with Justin and exchanged her soul for the soul of a warlock who was attacking innocents and his daughter was returned to him but in the form of a three year old girl.

 

With his family together, and his friends by his side, he decided to take the first strike in taking back what belong to the Good of both worlds and so, he launched and headed the First Strike on Avalon. The battle there was brutal and many were lost on both sides and Haden almost lost his daughter Liah, but the battle came down to Aiden and Haden. Two old friends, now rivals, fighting for one little isle. Their powers collided and it caused the island to break in half and the two halves were separated. It wasn't a complete victory, but it was a victory nonetheless, they retained the palace ground where were said to be the focal point of the isle as well as many other places.

 

Afterwards, Haden was badly beaten up, but he survived and he spent the next few weeks with his family. He watched his daughters carefully, seeing how much they've change, but Krys change the most. She was suffering from internal battles but thankfully, the Good side of her won out and fulfilled a desire of hers which was to age to some extent, making her two years younger than her older sister Liah. Haden also met a young man who he humanly foresaw as a pivotal being in the struggle of Good vs Evil. Raine Andrews was going to grow up to be a powerful vessel of magic and with Haden's huge gift, he'd be even better, all the more so he could look after Liah and the Family as was his desire and Haden's. Now they had Justin, Keri and Raine to look after them.

 

Having been successful, Haden and Justin made a second attempt on Magic School, a place which dealt a knife to the shoulder when it was captured by evil. There, Haden faced off with Cristos, the dark spawn of the Underworld, the battle was almost like a well matched tennis game, but in the end, Haden lost out...so ended the short, but most eventful life of Haden Vincent Mathias, the lonely hybrid, who came to San Francisco all those years ago.

Yet having died, it wasn’t his time to pass on, and it wouldn’t be his time for a very long while. You see, on his way up to eternal resting in the heavens, he wasn’t allowed to return to the heavens and he didn’t know why, yet he was still alive and so he returned to the Earth and lived out his life as if nothing happened with Liah and the love of his life, Keriann and with his closest friends. Later did he find out that Haden Mathias was now an Elder, well, part Elder. This happening because, all his life, he’s been suppressing his Whitelighter side and the same thing happened for the Elder bit of him but that new part of him was stronger so he was split into two co-operating part, the strong witch and the slightly stronger whitelighter. But other than that, his life on Earth and in the clouds with his wife working beside him and living with him has been quite peaceful and surprise, surprise- Liah and Raine got married.

 

Over the centuries, lots have happened between Keri and Haden. They got a son, they raised him right and as expected, he was a witch/whitelighter just like his mother and father (not a coincidence, but fate) and he got married and he had two handsome suns from his lovely, charming wife…but, as happy as they were together, their marriage didn’t last long. Yet another attack was made against the Mathias family after so many years and his son and daughter-in-law were killed. The shock of it hit Keri so hard and Haden just as hard because that was the night he was going to propose to her so he held it off, evidently he held it off for too long and it almost cost him Keri because she broke up with him, declaring that she wanted more in life, so she left, and he did to…he was so wrecked that he even attempted to take his life but Max saved him, talked what little sense into him that be bothered to take in and he returned home, which is where he and Keri had an awkward rendezvous which was purely by accident. It was the middle of the day and he didn’t know she’d be home, but they talked, then argued…then they talked and lastly, they made up. Their hearts, in his and my opinion, just weren’t meant to be apart any longer and Haden wasted no time. With his precious son in memory, he proposed to Keri and she said yes. Now, the two are to be married, they take care of their son’s sons who are actually old enough to be on their own but family sticks together, for now, everything is perfect.
