Avalon plays a major role in The Plot, and has developed tremendously particularly in Season Two of Charmed: Good Vs. Evil.

 SECRECY

 

 

The Isles of Avalon were discovered by Eris Sternlucis and Alaura Black after countless years of its existance. Avalon has since been the source of all elements known to man and some that men have not yet discovered.

 

The Isles are protected by Ancient Mists that protects the island from any other person not gifted to break through the mists, this protection led to its long life and strength within which many try to discover.

 

Avalon is also a very peculiar place as the Elders cannot see it from the Heavens. What they do see is the mists from the sky although later on in the Plot the Head Elder was seeing inside the new mists.

 

 

 

THE FIGHT

 

The mists were only able to be strong for so long. The ancient power of the mists became weak at one point when all the guards and its protectors died out from an attack by Saxons and because of women not being able to bare children. Since then, there has been a continuous fight for Avalon.

At one point, Queen Malchiresa, the first Queen of the Underworld, fought and won the Isles. But since then,  Queen of the Underworld Tara Sternlucis have gathered a force to take Avalon back to its inhabitants. This was successful only after Malchiresa joined the rest of the Underworld and safeguarded the Isle. However, their victory only came after they fought and triumphed overAiden Black-Density and Haden Mathiasas they defended the place against evil. 

 

 

Since then, the Isle was split into two. Mainly the Dark Mists and the New Mists. This occured after the magic between Aiden Black-Densitydefending the Isle for evil and Haden Mathias and Aayliah Andrews[formerly Mathias] fighting for good. Their combined powers split the isles into two. Since then, a new species [Harluxes] arose from the space in between and  is able to roam on either side of the Isle.

 

 

 

 

 

THE DARK MISTS

 

 

 

The Dark Mists is as the mystery of Avalon splitting. No one is particularly sure how the Isle looks now, although references have been made to the general setup of the place. The fields of Avalon is said to stretch forth to an entire side of Avalon. We also know that the Castle is the largest structure on the Isle. The Dark Mists is said to taint those that are good when they enter it and voids all good from entering without adequate power to part the veil.

 

 

 

The Castle

 

 

 

We do know that a new castle was built with it stretching forth to Avalon's famous fields where the back entrance of the castle is met. We also know that inside of the castle there are paintings and statues. A reference has been made to a huge dining room in which the Royal Family met and ate with Phillip a vampire. As of now, we still do not know why Phillip was chosen for dinner out of the many.

 

The castle also has infinite number of rooms as each of the members of the Royal Family is said to have their own quater. The castle is guarded by Dark Knights and an army that is trained to defend Avalon in case of an attack. The way this army is trained is unknown but we do know that Terrance Repitalli is in charge of Avalon's army.

 

The castle had been destroyed before in the battle that split the Isle. However, although no references were made to the castle's repair, the occupants continually marvel at the size and the new outlook the castle has.

 

 

THE APPLE FIELD

 

 

 

The field on the Dark Mists has been referenced to several times. We do know that Malchiresa, during and immediately after her pregnancy, was seen continuously with Avalon's apples were she would simply take one bite and get rid of the Apple. The purpose or significance of this is unknown although we do know that since the death of Malchiresa's mother, she was not seen with another apple.

 

The field is said to be so huge that it can act as a literal maze. We do know that the fields are well maintained and upkept. You can walk from one side of the field to the other which would lead to the back entrance of the castle.

 

 

 

 

 

 

THE NEW MISTS

 

 

 

 

The formation of the New Mists came after the splitting of Avalon during a fight for Avalon some one thousand years ago. We do know that the mist is the complete opposite of the Dark Mist and is said to host the good entities of Avalon. This Isle is pure and therefore the Elders are able to look down upon the Isle. The Elders originally couldn't look upon Avalon and often ignored its existance. However, although Elders know the New Mists exist,none has been there before.

 

 

The Castle

 

 

Much about the castle is unknown. We do know that the castle is ran by the current Head Priestess. The castle is said to be large with infinite number of rooms. The inside of the castle is peaceful and tranquil although the designs and decorations of the castle is unknown to common man.
